Since our tour concluded in June 2003 the ensemble has been in the 
studio recording the programme of new works written for us and this
collaboration, Recording began in October 2003. With all the musicians 
involved having busy schedules it has taken a year to record and mix 
all the works.

Audrey has been touring with the Merce Cunningham Dance Company, 
learning and performing another John Cage work which is the joy of 
her playing life at the moment, as well as providing more string 
arrangements for the new album by Coldplay.

James has also been touring with MCDC, as well as playing with 
numerous other groups, including starring as solo classical guitarist 
in a new Lalo Schriffin film score.

Andrew has kept up his busy solo schedule and recently premiered 
a new David Lang concerto which was written for him.

All three have somehow also found time to tour and record with 
Icebreaker.Nick and Rob are as in demand as ever, particularly Rob 
with Turin Brakes. However, by means of working with one very 
flexible and talented recording engineer, Asa Bennett, and booking 
days when we could, the album is now recorded and we are very 
fortunate to have had it mixed by Damian Le Gassick. The CD, hopefully 
alongside the films that were created for each piece, will be 
released shortly.

In the meantime, we have begun creating series two. To follow on from 
"A Change Of Light" and working again as a collaboration. More 
news soon!
